I never knew that I would have to lay down so much in my pursuit of God. 

If only I had known You like this before Lord. If only I had tasted and seen who You were in my earlier years.

Learning to see and accept God as my Heavenly Father was tough in the beginning, but it has now helped me become closer to Him.
